Painting people

Painting people is my first love, at first it started with portraits, then self portraits, then imaginary people.

I am of Jamaican heritage and the motto there is ‘ out of many one’ because the people there are a real melting pot. So , that is the experience I am personally having, but the pieces can be enjoyed by anyone . As a proud and grateful Brit, these paintings are a chance for me to explore , express and experience a more tropical exotic part of myself and our world. So meet these colourful subtly nuanced people all with a wonderful story to tell.

These pieces are acrylic on canvas.
